Edible Flowers

Petal & Co supply fresh edible flowers to Christchurch restaurants, cafes, caterers, bakers, and anyone interested in adding some edible beauty and freshness to their food and drinks!

We practise safe and environmentally friendly methods of growing our plants, and our flowers are handpicked and packed with care so you get the absolute best and most vibrant blooms. Our flowers are grown in accord with the seasons to ensure a continual and varied supply—as the seasons change, your blooms will change too.

All our edible flowers are grown and gathered with the express purpose of being used safely alongside or in food. They are non-toxic varieties and have never been near harmful chemicals.

We aim to be as flexible and accessible as possible for our customers, and deliver regularly to Christchurch premises. This ensures freshness and convenience. We also like to help out as much as we can with requests regarding flower size, colour or variety.

Small Punnets ($12.00) and Large Punnets ($20.00) are available by pre-order with collection from The Pantry inside Riverside market, or the flower farm near Rangiora.

Wholesale

Large Punnets or Large Re-usable Containers are delivered to Central Christchurch bars and restaurants. Our plant-plastic Punnets are commercially compostable, but many of our clients enjoy the ease and sustainability of the Large Re-usable Containers.

Cake Topper punnet

Our ‘Cake Topper’ Punnet is a curated extra-large punnet ($30.00) of seasonal cake flowers designed for you to simply open up and place on your cake. Gorgeous coordinating collections of large and small flowers and leaves. Perfect for wedding/special occasion cakes with one punnet per tier usually required.

Cake Topper punnets also have room for flowers with stems, a popular option at the moment.

Dried Edible Flowers

Dried edible flowers are available from Riverside Market in The Pantry area. Long-lasting gorgeous food adornment. There are a variety of mixes to choose from, including Cornflower and Calendula (Sunrise, Sunset) Little Petals, Rose Petals, Lavender, and whole dried Romantic Roses. Like all our edible flowers, our dried flowers have never been near harmful chemicals.
